Relationship Therapy

Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of joy, but they can also be messy, confusing and intense, sometimes leaving us feeling stuck, disconnected or unsure how to move forward. Relationship Therapy offers a safe and supportive space to slow things down, understand what’s happening, and explore patterns that may be getting in the way of feeling connected. Together, we’ll work collaboratively to navigate challenges, repair difficulties and build deeper, more authentic connections.

Topics We Can Explore

  • Communication difficulties

  • Conflict in relationships

  • Feeling stuck in repeating patterns

  • Anxiety in or around relationships

  • Building or deepening connections

  • Navigating non-monogamy

  • Separation and breakups

  • Affairs and infidelity

  • Intimacy and emotional closeness

  • Sexual concerns

Sometimes there isn't a straightforward problem to name. You might simply feel that something between you isn't quite right, or that you'd like your relationship to feel different. We can start there too.

What to Expect

Relationship therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to understand what’s going on in your relationship and what you’d like to change. We’ll begin with an initial assessment, where we’ll explore your relationship dynamics and personal experiences and start to shape our work together. We may go on to explore your thoughts, feelings, communication patterns, past experiences and the ways you’ve come to understand yourself and your relationships. Where appropriate, we may also look at practical exercises to help you make changes between sessions.

My approach is integrative, drawing on different therapeutic perspectives to understand the psychological, relational and emotional aspects of your relationship. Therapy can be a longer process, but many people notice meaningful shifts after just a few sessions. Everything happens at your pace, and you remain in control of what you bring to therapy.

An inclusive space

Relationships can look very different from one person to another. I work with people across a wide range of identities, sexualities and relationship structures, including monogamous, consensually non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, as well as people exploring kink and BDSM. I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients and relationships. Whatever your relationship looks like, you don’t need to fit into a particular idea of what a relationship should be. We’ll work with what matters to you, your relationship and the way you want to connect.

Getting Started

Finding the right therapist is really important, and I offer a free 15-minute consultation to give you the opportunity to talk through what you're looking for, what you'd like support with and whether working together feels like the right fit. If you’re ready to take the next step, please reach out to arrange a time.
